Why would they break the windows? Even I know what happens when you do that

Why does it always take a mass loss of life for a city/state/federal government to finally stop underfunding such critical infrastructure??? The city should be ASHAMED of themselves for how under equipped and understaffed they are.

Without knowing each story, I hope we support one another on this difficult walk.

Too many great people have sacrificed their lives. To those that are still suffering this loss and coping with the void of their presence, I’m holding space for you. May the living transform the pain and suffering into a more purposeful and directed existence. May we all be free, at peace and live honorably.

I watched alot of these fire videos and i find it odd that they refuse to enter a house fire and usually let it burn down but when its a business they loose there fn minds and go running in

I will never forget that day for as long I live. I’m from Charleston, and on that day I was driving down Savannah Hwy right when this happened. I worked a mile away. It still feels like dream. Absolutely heartbreaking. My goodness. Love & prayers to everyone. God bless.

wow holy shit this is read by a robot. I didn’t realize until he said “enveloped”

The Twin Towers were also built with truss design floors which are known for weakening dramatically with heat, thus the widowmaker appellation. Firefighters are known to say "Never trust a truss."

I broke down in tears. These men were heroes. My father was a firefighter, and I plan on becoming one. every call he went on, I prayed that he came back home. He did, but I can’t imagine how devastated I would be if my father didn’t one day… prayers to the families of all the victims, and prayers to all Firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and police officers on scene that day.

    R.I.P. They are true hero's.

the chief was there a week prior shopping, a year prior doing a walk through, and never looked up to see no sprinklers.

    incompetence.

Hear me out on this one..
3:33 Hearing this part alone just infuriates me. The firemen are busy putting out a fire and you have the audacity as a "responsible" driver to ruin the chances of putting out the fire successfully by running over their hoses. This honestly makes me wanna buy deployable spike strips and place them at a respectable distance to stop morons from tampering with other's jobs so they can learn, wake up, and realize "Oh. .. right!!! Oh my goodness!! That's a fire!" and care more about those around them.
It's the part about "caring about those around them" that those drivers did not respect that ticked me off. Lives could've been safer if these drivers would've respected the situation more.

Question, Why does the store owe the families a cent? The sad loss of the firefighters was in the course of their duties. If anything, they should sue the Fire Department. ESPECIALLY since the Department was not up to code! The company has paid taxes for this, the fighters assumed the risk.
Better sue the company that makes oil for the Mc Donald fry machine because someone spilled it and got burned.

William Hutchinson (Billy) was one of my barbers as a young kid. The last time I went there quite a few years back, they still had his barber station and chair open, with his name on a plaque above it, next to a flag.

Why are problems only fixed after a tragedy?

  23. より:

If no one's in the building let it burn . Why kill yourself over an empty building full of burning furniture

  24. より:

This is one of the saddest things I have ever seen! Thanks for helping us to remember those that lost their lives! May they rest in peace!

  25. より:

Thats as bad as the Worcester Massachusetts cold storage fire

  26. より:

Nobody should die to save a mere building with no people in it.
