thy are now ruleing that any and all hitboxs are banded you must no only a none modded controller .

  2. より:

Is it because you can do what sticks cannot?

  3. より:

Customizing to your taste is fine but adding additional inputs is downright unfair!!! Cheat

  4. より:

What about the snackbox micro? Canthye be used in tournaments

  5. より:

do they ban keyboards at events?

I'm not a fighting game enthusiast or even gaming enthusiast, just a gamer. But I believe the tournament fighting community can solve all these "controls" issue by just having arcade cabinets for tournaments just like the old days of arcade gaming. No one would have an unfair controller advantage here, right? Everyone will be using the same arcade "controller".

the stories are endless and the fact's are clear. these things are going to destroy fighting games. the advantage they give is so astronomical compared to even the most experienced stick or controller user it's not even funny. just watched a 15 year old with a year of experience and hitbox completely eclipse a life long player and pro. his execution was double that of the pro.. how is that fair? in anyway? I'm sure I could make a set of boxing gloves laced with lead an filled with light weight gas that would certainly out perform traditional gloves… but does that make it ok? or fair? i don't think so. people are being so short sighted when it comes to this subject it's unbelievable.
people don't seem to realize that they take advantage of the fact that these games weren't designed with this control method in mind, and use that overcite to completely break them.
it's a bit like hollowed out bats or helium in footballs. when it was first discovered everyone was excited about the potential without thinking of how it would effect the sport in the long run. hell, even steroids were legal at some stage. just because something pushes the bounds of a sport of game.. doesn't mean it good for it's over all health. you can't just make sticks and controllers obsolete. we will lose so many people within the fighting game community purely because they will refuse to put the time and effort in for a second time.
fighting games live or die by there community and culture. if people stop because all their effort is being invalidated, the games die. it's that simple.

  8. より:

    That's fascinating.
It might be safer to bring 2 types of controllers in case the rules of a tournament do a 180.

  9. より:

sound perfectly fair that it was banned at the time

  10. より:

It's not cheating to use a hitbox lol it's legal to use a keyboard, it's literally the same thing.

  11. より:

I think fighting games should have an option to disable whichever input isn't being used(so disable than analog if you're using dpad). This wouldn't just be useful for stopping the multiple direction abuse but also for players who have stick drift as I've seen that cause unintended inputs even though they're using dpad

  12. より:

If the FGC wanted clarity they should implement all opposite inputs = zero ie: up + down = zero / left + right = zero and enforce that on pads. Then and only then will all things be equal. Whether that is doable is the question.

hit boxes are not in the "spirit of fighting games" but if normal hit boxes are allowed no problem in seeing why Daigos wouldnt be. I made a hit box style box similar to his works pretty well. I assumed his just didnt have the correct socd but nope.

  14. より:

Daigo with a hitbox is just too powerful.

  15. より:

Holy ***F**in crap, 7:30 is exactly what I've been seeing on injustice 2. My opponents, somehow have 6th sense of how to block my unexpected attacks. More so…slip in a defense immediately after a light attack. Bcuz of this yell out, when I get them degenerates are physically beside me playing on a non-macro keyboard or an xbox controller, none of them should stand a chance. I've long suspected such cheat methods.

  16. より:

i was wondering if xbox layout gamepads are allowed? i ve seen there are ps4 pads with pad and stick reversed like on xbox. Andwith that layout it makes using dpad and stick a shitton easier because you can regular grip the pad, use the dpad with your thumb but hug the stick above with your index finger and slightly pull on it for insane easy kbds

  17. より:

Daaaamnn, so he actually cheattt 🙁

  18. より:

Mr. Sujano you really leveled up.

  19. より:

Daigo + New innovative things = Banned

  20. より:

    c-c-c-combo bre…. what… no killer instinct? wtf

  21. より:

AAAAAYE thats a Qanba Drone PS panel chopped in there at the top lol 1:37

  22. より:

Oh I see, so to fire projectiles he holds both directions pressing back first. Then just unpresses forward while still holding back to fire then as soon as the attack comes out the next attack is immediately charging the next attack. That is really interesting.

  23. より:

VS and VT are V shift and V trigger respectively

  24. より:

Have you ever played with SNACK BOX MICRO?

  25. より:

Idk if this is still a hot debate but regardless that hitbox was atrocious

  26. より:

Means he can cheat – he can always have charge held. Even if he moves forward he doesn’t lose the charge .

  27. より:

I walked into this video completely uninitiated, not being a fan of fighting games, but researching controller customization and modding. You dropped a heapload of knowledge on me in a way that was instantly accessible and digestible- thank you!

  28. より:

Screw all that ima bring a banana with sanwa buttons attached to it

  29. より:

exactly what I was gonna say, using the pad with the axis is much faster and that's how I get through the trials 100%, to connect a charge cancel into another charge immediately is nearly impossible, yet we know it can be done because of those trials, that is NOT cheating at all, the input remains exactly the same for both players. If Daigo's hitbox is banned, then I think the tournament should provides their own controllers/arcade sticks by default, otherwise as long as the player feels comfortable, he/she can use a steering wheel if that's the control preferred.

As a gaming keyboard main I am curious if my Hyperx mars would be allowed

  31. より:

I started tekken 7 on keyboard

  32. より:

They tried to nerf Daigo and Guile.

  33. より:

Have urgent questions! Is Turbo function permitted? Most of the PC fight controller like Hori has Turbo. Is it OK to bring it to tournaments? Also can I use a controller with 4 shoulder LRs and 6 face buttons and mapped fully all the buttons in the top? Is it legal? Thanks for answering!

  34. より:

Honestly it's not overpowered but unacceptable it is an edge not a large one by any means but fighting games one tiny advantage makes a huge difference

  35. より:

    mic is bad

  36. より:

If you have that type of soc cleaner on a normal hitbox wouldn't that work the same as well?

  37. より:

man imagine being so good they have to handicap you by taking your fight stick

  38. より:

subscribed coz of this guy's voice 🙂

  39. より:

7:35 I never thought of this out of all these years lol ever since growing up with dual shock 2,3,4

  40. より:

OF COURSE THAT WIND BE OP!

being able to dash just by pressing ONE BUTTON ONCE makes a GIGANTIC DIFFERENCE, considering how insane combos require LITERAL FRANE PERFECT EXECUTION. saving one extra hunan press of a button potentially gives you literally dozens of extra frames to move or input an extra hit. these naive illiterate noobs may not realize it, but having even just HAVING LITERALLY 5-10 EXTRA FRAMES CAN LITERALLY DETERMINE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEFEAT OR VICTORY.

world class pros are SUPER PRECISE, so it would make sense why this was banned.

PLUS THE OBVIOUS FACT THAT HE HAD A BUNCH OF EXTRA EASILY ACCESSIBLE BUTTONS! X'D

AND THIS IS WHY MACROS ARE BANNED IN TOURNAMENTS. IT GIVES AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!

  41. より:

FGC tournaments should be relegated to fight sticks and/or game pads. In casual play I have nothing against hit boxes, but in competition they DO give the users unfair advantages thru movement shortcuts.

  42. より:

So if I pitch up with a logitech keyboard I can't play. Cool.

  43. より:

nothing wrong with using hitbox, everyone can use it if they wanted to, they want to handicapped daigo because they are scared of him

  44. より:

    IMO it should be banned.
If you don't set boundaries, you can just hook the controller port directly to the brain and it will be perfectly legal.

As far as PS5 controllers go, I mean common, it obviously not an advantage to use a PS5 controller even if you can charge up an attack slightly faster or whatever, its not custom hardware.

  45. より:

Is the same thing with a keyboard, i play in pc and thats alowed, i can charge back and go to the front at the same time

  46. より:

This is why intentional input complexity is pointless. It's only pushing more advanced HARDWARE solutions and gatekeeping people who need accessibility options.

  47. より:

Was Cross|Up based off of Daigo's Frankenstein's monster?
